Why Work at Catalina Sea Camp?

Working for Catalina Sea Camp will be unlike anything you have ever experienced before. You will have the opportunity to live on an island in a private bay and work with people and children from all over the world. This summer camp experience will impact your life and provide more growth, social skills, and knowledge than any internship or summer class. We focus on creating a unique ocean adventure experience for kids 8-17-years-old. Our daily activities include sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, aquariums, kayaking, rock climbing, event planning, team bonding and much more. The friendships and connections that are built throughout your time on the island will stay with you forever and could possibly alter the trajectory of your life. If you are someone who loves the ocean, the outdoors, a sense of community and belonging and working with children, then this is the summer job for you.

It is important to know that working at summer camp is not for everyone. If you are looking for a job that is routine and doesn’t require a lot of personal responsibility, then maybe camp is not right for you. If you are looking for a summer that allows for a lot of work/life balance and never tests your limits, then a job at summer camp is definitely not for you. However, if you are looking for a summer unlike any you’ve ever experienced, one that will allow you to grow in ways you didn’t even realize you needed, then Sea Camp is the place to be. From staff to campers, our camp culture is built on 43+ years of life-changing experiences.
